This quote was another example of the reasoning of there society such as business need revenue and the idea of mass production at its best in the hypnotic suggestion children listen to in there sleep."A gramme is better than a damn." Lenina, Chapter 6, Part 1, pg. The more stitches, the less riches." Sleep-teaching, Chapter 3, pg. This quote is talking about previous history like not being able to have sex with anyone or not knowing or celebrating for ford. But then most historical facts are unpleasant." The Director, Chapter 2, pg. Ther are some quotes are enjoy.("These," he said gravely, "are unpleasant facts I know it. I enjoyed the idea that people over the years are becoming more desensitized to death evident the book where children are monthly brought into the morgue to look at dead people. The way in which we almost came close to a world war 3 erupting was frightful in the book case it happened and caused all the people to drastically change there way of life. Having the English language dominate the entire world is unsettle and more truthful. The way in which people act is still seen today like cursing the gods in this case it almighty Ford instead of God. The way in which the dialogs and future that was handled did not seems so distant off. John realizing's the horrible way in which the new world acts commit suicide giving a dark future for the rest of the world. After Bernard discover that John the savage is really the son of the director from 25 years ago brings him back to England. Going on a trip to Mexico to a savage reservation they encounter a boy who can speak English and read. The other main character is a woman named Lenina Crowne who has taken a liking to Bernard odd behavior.
Bernard is a Alpha physiologist who has an inferiority complex and seems distanced himself from other like him and his society. After the tour we are introduced to one of the primary character Bernard Marx.
In this caste system humans are born form surrogate machine that de-cans the babies. The director is teaching students on a tour of the facility talking about the caste system that involves from lowest to highest. This is similar to the world today because there are far fewer Alphas and Betas than there are Gammas, Deltas, or Epsilons who do the menial labor in life. The Book opens in London Hatchery and conditioning. This cloning process predetermines who does what in life because in the process, the factory controllers "predestine and condition" (13). The Alpha and Beta embryos do not undergo this process because of the risk of it becoming weakened. Through this process, each fetus destined for Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon gets shocked which forces it to divide into 96 identical embryos which go on to develop into 96 identical fully developed human beings.
Only Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon undergo the Bokanovsky Process. Each fetus is "destined" for one of 5 castes: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. The process involves using fetuses produced from surgically removed ovaries. Machines are used to mass produce these "products". So in the Directories of Hatcheries and Conditioning, humans are produced in a similar way to factories. In the year 632 A.F.(meaning after Henry Ford), humans no longer produce natural offspring with the next generation of adults. The Bokanovsky Process is a process used in the fictional novel, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. The cloning process is one of the tools the World State uses to implement its guiding motto: “Community, Identity, Stability.” One is the loss of the meaning of life.” The Director explains that the Bokanovsky Process facilitates social stability because the clones it produces are depended on fate to perform same tasks at te same machines. A select few individuals will gain control over cloning, and will produce an obedient race at will. After two-hundred and sixty-seven days, the babies are decanted, which is the equivalent of birth. Everyone is the same, and no one is unique.
In chapter one it explains that "a bokanovskified egg will bud, will proliferate, and will divide. The Alpha and Beta embryos never go through the dividing process, which can weaken the embryos. The process involves shocking an egg so that it divides to form up to ninety-six identical embryos, which then develop into ninety-six of the same human beings. Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon are the only ones that do go through the Bokanovsky Process. The five castes are Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. The Hatchery is only for certain caste in the World State. Bokanovsky's Process is a fake process in Brave New World of human cloning that is a key aspect of the world.
